Develop your story of how Christ has worked in your life. Write it down and learn what you might say. Always remember there is no better way to share Christ with someone than by sharing what He has done and will continue to do for you!

Bag Tags And Towels

Everyone who is a member of the Christian Golfers Ministry has a bag tag with the GOLFER acrostic on it. This is also printed on the towels available to all members.

When you use the acrostic, explain what it means. The following will help you to also know scriptures which can help you.

John 1:1 - He always was, is and will be.

John 1: 1 2,3:3,6:29 - He cares for us no matter what.

John 3:16 - He gave His all because He Loved us.

John 3:17,21,8:12 He wants us to repent and seek forgiveness.

John 5:24,10:27-29,11:25-26 14:1-3 - He wants to have eternal fellowship with man.

When using the acrostic, always refer to John 3:16 as the proof statement God gives to all of us!

Tees And Ball Marker

You should get in the habit of leaving your tees at the tee box after you have hit. Some other golfer combing the tee box for a tee will find it and receive the message printed on it, which could plant a seed or cause them to think about the message. Your ball markers should be shared with everyone with whom you play. It will give them a reference to read later or you an opportunity to share a "True Light" book with them. In John 20:21 Jesus said, "I am sending you, just as the Father has sent me." By leaving a tee or sharing a ball marker God is sending His message through you and after you have left that hole.

Hats

Hats with the logo are available to all members and should be worn during play or anytime you have a chance. They will open doors for you to share the message with someone who might ask you about them.

Bibles "The True Light"

Each member will have at least two copies of the Gospels of John. On the back will be the acrostic. They are for you to share the message with others. Keep them in your golf bag and give them away to those who need them. This great little tool can be replaced for less than a dollar. Your church ministry should keep them on hand.

Tract Cards

Members have a supply of these cards so that they can share their name with others as well as the message that God offers, LOVE, FORGIVENESS and ETERNAL REDEMPTION.
